Caitlin's Story

Some of my best memories start in the kitchen with my dad. He’s the the kind of cook who never needs a recipe - just instinct, great ingredients, and a love for feeding people. Since I was young I’d stand next to him, watching closely as he taught me the little things: how to balance flavours, when to trust your gut, and why the best meals are always made to be shared.

When I moved from Canada to England in 2018, I began to see even more clearly how food brings people together. Cooking became my way of connecting - with new friends, with home, and with myself. It’s also how I unwind. For me, the kitchen is my creative outlet, a space where I can slow down, experiment, and express myself through food.

As I started getting more adventurous with recipes, I noticed something: the products that really elevate a dish, the ones chefs swear by are often hidden away in restaurant supply chains or specialty shops. Why should professional kitchens have all the fun?

That’s why I created Chef’s Table.
